Finding Helpful Retirement Advice

Thinking about retirement? We’re there, too, with lots of questions. We sat down and made a list of people we know and trust, people we could ask those questions. Then we began contacting them, one by one, and getting together to talk. We took notes. And then at home later, we discussed what applied to our personal situation. We prayed about all of this. And God has helped us make plans.

In our process of searching, we looked on the Internet for helpful articles. At first, all the results gave us financial information. What we really wanted to know was what a biblical retirement looks like. A smarter search gave us the following articles that we found really helpful:

As believers, we are not alone in our pursuit of God’s will. His Holy Spirit lives within us, counseling and guiding us in His ways. While the Internet and wise advisors are helpful, the greatest source of guidance for all seasons of life is the Spirit. Still have questions?
